What began as a passion for miniatures has grown into a beloved brand worn by collectors, gift-givers, and dessert lovers around the world.
Our Story
Decadent Minis was founded in 2008 with one mission: to turn joy, comfort, and creativity into wearable art.
Decadent Minis began as something deeply personal a mommy and daughter bonding experience.
What started at the kitchen table was simply about joy. Trina and her daughter created miniature cakes together for her daughter’s Barbie dolls, turning imagination into tiny works of art. Before long, her friends wanted them too and word began to spread.
Around that same time, Etsy had just launched, and a family friend suggested listing the creations online. Trina hesitated. This wasn’t meant to be a business it was art, made for love, shared between a mother and her child.
But reluctantly, she posted the very first piece:
a scented Pop-Tart charm.
Within hours, it sold out purchased by a customer in Australia.
And in that moment, Decadent Minis was born.
As momentum grew, Trina was encouraged to take the brand offline and into the world through art shows and pop-ups. Naturally shy, she was apprehensive but she persevered. What followed was years of traveling throughout California, participating in art shows, festivals, and pop-up events, connecting face-to-face with customers who instantly fell in love with the miniature details and nostalgia woven into every piece.
That journey even led to a personal invitation to pop up at the Facebook headquarters a milestone that still feels surreal.
Then came 2020.
Decadent Minis reached the front page of Etsy and went viral.
From there, the brand expanded beyond anything originally imagined earning features in Good Housekeeping, Cosmopolitan, and multiple front-page placements on Etsy. Today, Decadent Minis art can be found in shops around the world and worn, shared, and celebrated by influencers, bloggers, and collectors globally.
