"I’m an avid crafter, and spend a lot of time searching out classes that will advance my skills and to do something different. I found that and more with Trina’s Shabby Chic Bakery 1:12 Miniature class! Everything went smoothly, from my first contact with Trina to the end of our private class. I saw her posting on Verlocal, offering classes that include making miniature pastries and the bakery counter. She was very responsive to my initial emails – answered all my questions and concerns about logistics, skill level, availability. I looked online - she actually sells these pieces on her website, and generously teaches people how to make them – that is a true artist!! We had our private class at my house. I live in San Francisco, and Trina came all the way from Antioch. I’m so grateful for her willingness to driver over. As a very nervous driver; the thought driving from SF to Antioch and back was really stressful. I really appreciate the customer service and care Trina provided prior to the class. She emailed a reminder the night before, sent texts regarding her arrival time. In fact, she sent a follow up email after the class as well! Trina arrived exactly on time, in her trademark apron, energized and enthusiastic! She brought everything we would need: Full written instructions for us to follow, a demonstration model of the counter, paints and glue, materials to build the counter, clay, and much more. To my amazement, she even brought her own oven to bake up the clay pastries! Our class lasted the whole afternoon. Trina was very patient and explained in detail the structure of how we were building the counter. I messed up the measurements a couple of times, but Trina never skipped a beat. I appreciate her reassuring feedback, and her generosity with her supplies. I couldn’t imagine a pile of sticks would magically turn into a miniature bakery counter! I love everything about it – and feel so proud to make this! The class was for the bakery counter, but Trina also taught me how to make some pastries to fill it. She showed me cool tips and tricks to make them look realistic. I’ve done some stuff with clay, but this really advanced my skills. The time with Trina was like spending an afternoon with a cool friend! I can’t wait to take more classes from her!"

"I did a really complicated custom order with Trina. She’s the best! I ordered the shabby chic bakery counter in light pink with special custom treats (didn’t take pictures of it yet). And 2 custom mini wedding cakes. She let me message her tons of pictures and detailed requests and worked a lot with me to get what I was asking for. I love them all. Highly detailed and beautiful And the counter is really one of the cutest things ever. I hope it set it up later and take a picture. The sweets are some of my favorite kinds with lots of pinks. Just lovely she’s so talented and sweet and I appreciate all of her constant communication with me and hard work so much "-Mona

Nothing makes me more happy than to see my daughter happy. We discovered Decadent Minis at the Stonestown Galleria Mall in San Francisco. My daughter was enamored with the bakery counter, but didn't tell me until we were home :) We did walk away with the gummy bear necklace, so cute and smelled yummy. I reached out to the owner, and she graciously made the bakery available on-line for me to buy for my daughter's birthday. The packaging was beautiful, filled with extra goodies, and a personal letter to my daughter wishing her happy birthday. Icing on the cake? Shipping was quick! Each piece is crafted by hand, and you can't put a price tag on art like this. The owner cares about its customers, not just the business.
