This collection was inspired by my recent trip to the Dominican Republic for my 3 year wedding anniversary. I had such a wonderful time I didn't want to leave! The food was so delicious and fresh! I wanted to incorporate the love I have for that Island into this collection.

Making watermelon for the first time was definitely a learning experience. It took me batch after batch to come up with the perfect red and green colors. After days of mixing and loads of ruined clay I finally achieved the color I was looking for!
Same with the grapes!
All in all, I really enjoyed making this collection for you guys! I have had LOADS of requests for a number of pieces in this collection and it was so wonderful to finally be able to bring it all together! I hope you will enjoy this new collection!
